A little about this Rossmönster Baja PLUS LX:
We are so excited for the 2025 Rossmönster Baja Plus series of adventure trucks. Starting with this Baja Plus LX. The Baja Plus sets itself apart with its larger, versatile footprint, offering enhanced capability and living space. Built on the F-550 platform this configuration is ideal for adventurers seeking a vehicle that can confidently go anywhere, carry more, and stay longer.
The Rossmönster Baja truck camper’s innovative powered topper enables a compact footprint and lower center of gravity while traveling. With the ability to raise or lower the roof 14” with the touch of a button. With the roof lowered, you reduce body roll, increase stability and increase driver comfort. Getting to the back country and having a lower overall height can be the difference maker when going under tree limbs and overhangs. Having the ability to raise or lower the roof is a real game changer and one of the many innovative features that sets Rossmönster apart from the crowd.
The largest and most luxurious member of the Rossmönster Baja Truck Camper Series, The Plus houses all of the elevated creature comforts of the Trail, but with a significantly more spacious floor plan built on a larger, and more capable chassis. With options to sleep and ride up to six, this model is designed for those who prefer a bit more space to travel with a crew, or who prioritize the power and hauling capacity of the larger Ford F-550 Chassis.
Built with true four season capability, it features Heat and AC for year-round comfort. Hydronic in-floor heat, heat/hot water system, and a 12V AC unit, all supported by a state of the art energy system designed for off-grid living.
We picked over $7,000 in custom options on this one. Some of these options we ordered are through the Rossmönster Custom Program, which you can’t get on the standard option sheet. A few highlights include:
- IWS Storage Box Setup (Ski Box and Standard Wedge Box) – Our personal favorite combination for storage at the back of the Baja. We love having the tall Ski box, which is obviously made for skis, but we also use it for fishing poles, rifles, paddles, or recovery shovels. On the other side of the Plus, we put the standard wedge storage box to just give you even more storage. These boxes sit on opposing sides of the spare tire. ($4,800 in options)
- Starlink Mini Mounted to the Roof: Satellite Internet with the mobility kit. Our preferred choice for internet on any adventure vehicle. ($850 option)
- Torklift Super Hitch Magnum with Super Truss 36” Extension: This is an IWS special option. We have Rossmonster install the Super Hitch Magnum with a 36” Extension to give you complete versatility for towing with your Baja trail. Without a Super Hitch and extension, it becomes very difficult to be able to tow a trailer, or use a hitch mounted bike rack with the the spare tire and the storage boxes in the way. We know many of you want to be able to tow a small adventure trailer, carry a motorcycle on a hitch rack, or tow a jet boat with your Baja. This Super Hitch setup will allow you to keep a higher tow rating even with an extension and still keep your boxes and spare tire on. ($2,000 option)
