A little about this Classic 43CMD
The Classic is where it all started with Renegade. The Classic is the most customizable coach that Renegade offers. Each Renegade Classic is truly unique and not one is ever the same. There are hundreds of options on the Classic, and some many people don’t even know about. We put our IWS Signature Series™ badge on all our Renegade Classics because we believe they are one of the best Super C coaches’ money can buy!
We built this Classic on our favorite chassis, the NEW Freightliner Cascadia P5 116 mated with the Detroit Diesel DD13 Engine with 525hp and 1,850 ft lb. of torque. We ordered this one with the Detroit DT12 12 Speed Automated Manual Transmission which is our favorite transmission for towing performance. This is a beast of a powertrain that can handle anything you throw at it. It also has the Detroit Safety Assurance collision mitigation system, that features lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and adaptive brake assistance.
This coach sits at a desirable, 43’ in total length, and features the 43CMD bath and a half floorplan. Renegade has always set the bar by thinking differently and out innovating the competition. We love that you can fit, a stacked washer and dryer, a king bed, two bathrooms, a large living area, a pantry, and a nice kitchen along with 4 slide outs. With its shorter length, and the DD13 Engine, this is one of our best horsepower to weight ratio coaches we offer. This one is truly built for driving enthusiasts.
Being an IWS Signature Series™ build, we picked over $129,000 in Renegade options on this one. A few of the major options include:
- Theater Seating in lieu of Sleeper Sofa– A personal favorite combination of ours. The theater seats are the most comfortable seats for the Classic and we love the versatility of the over cab bunk, and sleeper booth dinette for extra sleeping when you do have some people stay over. ($2,000 option)
- Exterior Lighting Upgrades – We wanted this coach to make a statement. We added color changing underbody LED lights, color changing under-slide LED Lights, extra brake lights, extra turn signals, and (5) Scene lights for extra visibility. ($6,000 in options)
- Extreme Weather Insulation Package (R-25 Value) – One of the main reasons to go with a Classic is the industry leading insulation package! The Classic’s ceramic temp coat insulation in the ceiling, walls and floor gives a R-25 insulation value, making this the best insulated Super C that money can buy! The Extreme Weather Insulation is exclusive to Renegade Classic! ($5,000 option)
- Lithium Battery and Solar Panel Upgrades– This gives you (4) High Capacity Lithium Batteries over the standard (2) as well as an additional 200 watt solar panel giving you well over 800 watts of solar and over 750 amp hours of lithium battery capacity. For 2027 model year, there are (2) 3,000 Watt Inverters with one wired to the center A/C to run on battery! A total gamechanger. ($10,000 in options)
