A little about this XL 43DB-S (Stretch)
The XL is the top of the mountain from Renegade with their Super C Lineup. Renegade has taken all its best features and options and made them standard on XL. There are only a few options available because it has everything already. You pick the XL because you want the best performance, the best features, and the most luxurious coach Renegade can build. We have the best chassis options with the XL between Freightliner Cascadia, Western Star 57X, and Peterbilt 567, all offering 525 to 600HP and tandem rear axles for 30,000 lbs of towing capacity! XL is our best horsepower to weight ratio coach in the lineup.
We built this XL on the New Freightliner P5 Cascadia 116 chassis, mated with the Detroit Diesel DD13 Engine with 525hp and 1,850 ft lb. of torque. We ordered this one with the Detroit DT12 12 Speed Automated Manual Transmission which is our favorite transmission for towing performance. This is a beast of a powertrain that can handle anything you throw at it. It also has the Detroit Safety Assurance collision mitigation system, that features lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and adaptive brake assistance.
This coach sits at a 44’ in total length and features the 43DB-S (Stretch), bath and a half floorplan. The 43DB one of our favorite floorplans, and this one we STRETCHED 12" in the bedroom. Since we built this on a shorter nose chassis (the 116) we were able to stretch the bedroom by 12" to give you more space around the 72" x 80" King bed. This also gives you more storage space in the wardrobe closet. This floorplan is excellent for those that want to go to a destination and stay for a while. We love the large kitchen and living area where the kitchen is on the driver’s side of the coach. There is so much room inside this coach!
Being an IWS Signature Series™ build, we picked over $14,000 in options on this one. A few of the major options include:
- Theater Seating in lieu of Sleeper Sofa– A personal favorite combination of ours. We designed this floorplan for couples that are looking for the most luxurious, comfortable floorplan on the market. The theater seats are the most comfortable seats for the XL. And new for 2027 you have a foldout table top with integrated power and cup holders in the center console! ($2,100 option)
- Interior Design Upgrades – We added our own personal touch to the interior of this XL build. There are several little options that make all the difference. We added a cedar lined rear closet, all-wood valences in lieu of fabric, extra coat hooks at the entry, bedroom ceiling fan, padded walls with flat panel wainscoting, a picture window over the theater seats, and we added (2) Drawers with enclosures in lieu of doors in the rear wardrobe! ($9,000 in options)
- True King Sized Bed (72" x 80") – As we mentioned earlier, we stretched this floorplan to for this King Bed. Standard you get 66" x 80" bed. That is mostly so that there is enough room to get around the bed inside the bedroom. If you do a 72" x 80" bed without the floorplan stretch design, you have very little room to make the bed and get around it. With this stretch design you get 6" more room on each side of the bed, even with the larger bed! ($700 option just for the King Bed)
- Stacked Washer and Dryer– We know that if you are interested in a coach of this caliber and size, you plan on being comfortable. We simply wouldn't order an XL without the stacked washer and dryer option! ($2,450 option)
