Renegade has continued to impress us over the years with the Explorer, and for the 2026 model year, they have really outdone themselves! The Explorer is one of our top models in terms of luxury and performance. This coach sits at a desirable, 38’ to 40’ in total length depending on the floorplan and features a single rear axle.

The Explorer is built on one of our favorite chassis, the Freightliner P4 Cascadia 116 chassis, mated with the Detroit Diesel DD13 Engine with 525hp and 1,850 ft lb. of torque. It features the Detroit DT12 12 Speed Automated Manual Transmission which is our favorite transmission for towing performance. It also has the Detroit Safety Assurance collision mitigation system, that features lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and adaptive brake assistance. 

Renegade has always set the bar by thinking differently and out innovating the competition. The Explorer’s interior is beautifully designed to include tile floors, hardwood residential-style cabinets, kitchen and bathroom tile backsplashes.
