Starting with the chassis, the Freedom Aire is built on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter 4500 Chassis! This is a great upgrade over the Sprinter 3500 chassis. The 4500 gives you an extra 1,000 lbs of GVWR and therefore gives you more carrying and towing capacity! You get a full 5,000 lb towing capacity with the Freedom Aire which is perfect for most toad vehicles.

 

Powered by the reliable Mercedes 2.0 Liter 4 Cylinder High-Output Diesel Engine with 211 HP and 332 Lb. Ft Torque. Mated to the 9-speed automatic transmission, this powertrain gives you plenty of power for cross country trips. For 2027 we maintain the host of collision mitigation features such as high-performance headlights, adaptive cruise control, lane departure, and adaptive brake assist to name a few!
