At IWS we know your quality of life depends on the quality of truck we build. When its 3 am, in the middle of a snowstorm on the side of the freeway, we want you to have the best equipment possible so you can get home to your family. We built this Century 5130 with no compromises. We built it to be the most capable truck in your fleet.
This 5130 is built on our IWS Signature Series™ 2024 Kenworth T880 chassis. This chassis spec has over 140-line items in the option list. Starting with the most powerful powertrain we can get in this chassis, with the Cummins X15 Engine producing 565 hp. This engine is mated to the 18 Speed Eaton Ultra Shift Transmission providing over 2050 ft/lbs. of torque. The Extreme Temperature Insulation package is installed in the cab and 40” sleeper to reduce road noise fatigue as well as keeping you more comfortable while you are on your long hauls. We’ve added a special lighting package that allows you to see what is around you as you are driving, parking or arriving on scene to a casualty.
We love the versatility of the Century 5130, 25 ton wrecker body which we optioned with a 7035 underlift. This unique combination keeps your chassis lighter and maneuverable, but gives you the towing rating of 80,000 lbs. The underflift also has a 16,000lb extended rating, and a 35,000lb retracted rating.
We’ve also added an In The Ditch SP20,000 SidePuller® that has 20,000 lbs of winching capacity to recover from either side of the truck, along with 10 anchor points, providing options for perfect snatch block placement. With a SidePuller®, you will have the peace of mind of knowing that you’ll be equipped to handle any towing and recovery situation. This will out pull, out work, and out perform any other brand of side recovery system on the market.
